I was in Phan Thiet, LZ Betty, II Corps,, with the South China Sea as the Eastern Boundary of the base (no retreat options unless you were a frogman) , many of our operations were in Da Lat, Ban Me Thout, as well as on the LZ,. I arrived back in the US in Washington State just in time to be spit on as I was leaving the airport. Shortly after that I went to Chicago to finish my degree in Chemistry and Physics, just to watch Kent State.
